- My mother was my beginning education. She was a firm believer in reading and was a skilled speller. I have never matched her spelling skills.

- I did not go on to college but married and have been married for almost 40 good years. We had two children and we have one grand daughter.

A Photo
Our
family is small although there are extended members. I have two sisters with
families of their own and my husband has a sister and two brothers with
families. Get all of us together, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandkids and it can
be a large gathering.
Eden is our only grand child. She has been a joy from the beginning and we have enjoyed her company for months at a time when she visits with us during the summer. She and her mom and dad are a Navy family and they are in Spain at this time for a three year tour of duty.
Halie is our second child. She is six years younger than her brother. She is highly intelligent, a fantastic mother and a busy Navy wife. Halie home schooled Eden for about 8 years. It was an exciting piece of our family history as I got to take part in Eden's education.
