Out they go in droves to get
As much as they can find
Hershey Bars and popcorn balls
Sweet treats on younger minds
They're dressed as ghosts and warlocks
And Spider-Man is seen
With Super stars and their guitars
And aliens all green

Halloween's damn scary
My heart thumps at the word
I cringe at every howling dog
And every boo that's heard
Little ones ... they're running screaming
Having fun while parents pace
As predators behind closed doors
Hide masked and stoic face

Abnormal minds, they work them hard
To think your child near
Only common sense will keep
Your children safe each year
